Commission FAQ

The way I charge international customers and Dutch customers differs. I do not charge extra fees for any of the payment options. All invoices are sent to your e-mail address.

Dutch commissioners can pay through:

  • Paypal invoice (Paypal account, credit card or bank account, e.g. ING or ABN Amro)
  • Stripe invoice (iDEAL, bank account or credit card)
  • Direct transfer (IBAN to IBAN)

International commissioners can pay through:

  • Paypal invoice (Paypal account, credit card or bank account)
  • Stripe invoice (bank account or credit card)

Commissions done at a convention may be paid with cash.

Payment plans are available from €250, and range from 2 months up to 12 months, depending on the total. There’s an additional one-time €25 fee that comes with this.

Payment must be made in full before the commission is delivered, and a minimum deposit determined by the total must be made before I get to work.

I do not offer VAT-free invoices. All invoices will have VAT listed separately. VAT is 21%.

All invoices will be in euros.

When commissioning me, you can choose three ways to pay: hourly, daily, or package. Here’s what that means:

Hourly wage

  • €38 excl. VAT
Not determined beforehand, but you’ll get a rough estimate.
I will charge by the hour and keep a strict record of the hours worked.
A minimum deposit of one hour is required, even if the work takes less than an hour.
This charge is weekly, or before project delivery if the turnaround is less than 5 days.

Daily price

  • €300 excl. VAT.
  • Not determined beforehand, but you’ll get a rough estimate.
  • I charge this amount for every 8 hours I have worked, and will keep a strict record of the hours worked.
  • A minimum deposit of one day is required, even if the work takes less than a day.
  • This charge is weekly, or before project delivery if the turnaround is less than 5 days.

Package price

  • Illustrations: starting from €15. Animation: starting from €1000 for 30 seconds or €35 per second.
  • Determined beforehand, based on complexity and/or duration.
  • A minimum deposit is required, the amount will be determined based on the total amount. Paying in full upfront is possible.
  • Payment must be made in full before project delivery.

Yes! You’ll have to pay a production fee and shipping, depending on what paper/finish you’d like your commission to have. You’re also welcome to print it at home, but not for resale. Personal use only.

That’s possible! Don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail. I don’t bite!

Personal/Commercial use licenses are further explained on the ToS-page.

Freelance FAQ

It can be found on my animations page, alongside my favourite full animations. This demo reel will be updated regularly; at least once a year, but I aim to update it every 6 months.

I’m honoured! Feel free to shoot me an e-mail regarding my availability: contact@pan-tastique.com

My portfolio has life drawing, animation, storyboarding, character design, and general illustration, to give you a feel of what I can do.

For short-term gigs relocating on short notice isn’t always possible, but I’d be willing to relocate for any full-time position. For freelance, I’d prefer remote work.

I am currently located in The Netherlands.

Software, currently using:

  • OBS Studio (screen recording/streaming)
  • Toon Boom Storyboard Pro
  • TVPaint 11 Professional
  • Photoshop CS6
  • Adobe Animate CC
  • Clip Studio Paint Pro
  • Audacity
  • Sony Vegas Pro 13

Some of these programs are fairly old, that’s why I was able to get them cheap! I’m not currently subscribed to Animate, though, because I’m mainly using TVPaint.

Software, used in the past:

  • Paint Tool SAI
  • TVPaint Pro 10
  • Photoshop CS2
  • Medibang Paint Pro

This varies a lot. It depends on art style and level of detail required, as well as how familiar I am with the program you want me to use.

Storyboards, generally 3-6 hours per minute of footage.

Animation, one week to 3 weeks to get through 1 minute of clean animation (starting from storyboards).

TL:DR; I’m a guy.

I get this a lot from people who have watched my old YouTube videos. I’m transgender, which means I identify as male, but was born female. As of April 2nd, 2021, I have started my medical transition, but I’ve known since 2014.

No. As of right now, I haven’t had any formal education or training.
